Sound Design Project: Lifted (2021)

This is a sound design project I made for an Audio Production Basics class in 2021. The project involved stripping the audio from a short clip and recreating the audio track in Pro Tools. In this project, I used both downloaded sounds and self-recorded sounds.
The scene is a short Pixar animation called Lifted.

Sound Design Project: Ready Player One (2021)

This is an audio-only project, where the objective was to sound design and voice act an excerpt from a book. I selected the part in Ready Player One where the characters must reennact a scene from Monty Python's Holy Grail.

Video Project: Metaverses (2022)

This is a short video essay I made for a class called Social Aspects of Electronic Media. The purpose was to highlight the differences between certain aspects of Meta's Horizon Worlds and VRChat, and determine which one was the better "Metaverse" in my opinion.

Sound Design Project: Toy Story 2 (2022)

This is another movie scene with a self-made audio track. In this project, I worked with a scene from Toy Story 2. Most sounds are downloaded, but some sounds, and the voices are self-made. I was the voice of Al, and one of my classmates played the repairman.
This short won the award for Best Sound for Picture in the BECAfest 2023 show, which can be seen below.

Sonic Storytelling Project: Day At The Pool (2022)

This is an assignment from Sonic Storytelling involving creating a story using only audio. The prompt for this project was: "Someone jumps into a public swimming pool, then gets transported to someplace unfamiliar."

Sonic Storytelling Project: Forest Fight (2022)

Another audio-only assignment from Sonic Storytelling, this was a group project in which we had to create a story using exclusively self-made sounds. The prompt for this project was: "A clown, duck, and a bear having an argument in a forest."

Documentary Project: San Francisco Throughout the Ages

A short documentary made by me and a small team. I worked with the audio team to record and mix audio on site for the b-roll and interviews, recorded the voiceover, and adjusted/added some sounds in post.

Live Show: BECAfest 2023

A live show put on by Jeff Jacoby's BECA 640 class. It was an awards show that celebrated various creative aspects of the BECA department and its talented student body. I worked on various aspects of the show, such as live sfx queues, voiceover for all the scripts read and names of nominated projects, and promotional materials.

Live Show: BECA Graduation Celebration (2023)

A live ceremony hosted to celebrate the graduating BECA students of 2023. I provided narration for various parts of the show. Apologies if the audio is a bit blown out, not sure what happened there.
